The Department welcomes new faculty for the 2021-2022 academic year

Two new professors join the Department of Economics and Business, bringing fresh perspectives and experience from across the field

The Department of Economics and Business is committed to advancing the field of economics by working with experts in economic theory and practice to advance the academic and professional goals of students, as well as to promote the development of teaching and research throughout the entire university community.

The Department is therefore pleased to announce two new professors for the 2021-2022 academic year: Lorenzo Cappello and Thomas Neuber.

 

Lorenzo Cappello

PhD Bocconi University.

Fields of research: Statistical approaches to mathematical questions, Scalable coalescent-based inference, Recursive algorithms in Bayesian statistics, and Applications in infectious diseases and ancient DNA.

Thomas Neuber

PhD candidate Bonn Graduate School of Economics.

Fields of research: Applied microeconomics, Behavioral economics, and Applied econometrics.
