Talented new teaching faculty to start at the begining of the 2017-18 academic year

The Department of Economics and Business is pleased to announce that it has hired four new faculty members:

  • Jesica de Armas: PhD Universidad de La Laguna.

    Research interests: Operations research, combinatorial optimization, metaheuristics, logistics and transportation, and machine learning
  • Miguel Espinosa: PhD London School of Economics.

    Research interests: Business economics and industrial organization
  • Alberto Santini: PhD University of Bologna.

    Research interests: Combinatorial optimisation, machine learning, and metaheuristics
  • Antonio Penta: PhD University of Pennsylvania.

    Research interests: Game theory, mechanism design, auctions, bounded rationality, and economic theory
