Eulàlia Nualart obtains a Serra Húnter position at the Department of Economics and Business at UPF

Eulàlia Nualart, Professor of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, has been obtained a permanent position within the Serra Húnter Programme of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Serra Hunter Programme (SHP) is part of a new academic staff model that the Government of Catalonia is promoting to reinforce the internationalization of the Catalan universities, with the ultimate goal of consolidating Catalonia as the knowledge hub of Southern Europe.

The SHP promotes the hiring of highly qualified faculty members with academic records meeting high-level international standards. The Programme aims at recruiting around 500 new faculty members into the Catalan public universities during the period 2013-2020. The SHP is funded by the Government of Catalonia and the seven Catalan public universities.

Eulàlia Nualart obtained her PhD from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2002. She is Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra since September, 2012. She was previously Associate Professor of Mathematics at Université Paris 13 and invited professor at Universidad Pública de Navarra and University of Utah (USA). Her fields of research are: Statistical and Probability models, Financial models, Stochastic analysis and Malliavin calculus and its applications to finance.
