Peter Koudijs (PhD in Economics, Finance and Management by the UPF, 2011) has won the 2012 Thirsk-Feinstein PhD Dissertation Prize in Economic and /or Social History awarded by The Economic History Society, for his dissertation "Trading and financial market efficiency in 18th-century Holland".

The Prize was awarded during the Annual Conference of the Economic History Society (EHS 2012) held in Oxford on March 30th and April 1st.

Peter Koudijs is currently an assistant professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (Stanford University).
