Humberto Llavador and Nagore Iriberri have been awarded the 2012 Jaume Vicens Vives Distinction to the quality of university teaching

Humberto Llavador and Nagore Iriberri, professors of the Departament of Economics and Business of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, have been awarded the 2012 Jaume Vicens Vives Distinction to the quality of university teaching in the collective mode. The prize has been awarded for their project "Economic Theory through Experiments: Towards a New Learning Methodology".

The ceremony took place on September 17th at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, within the framework of the start of the university year 2012-2013 of the Catalonian university system.

The Jaume Vicens Vives Distinction to the quality of university teaching, granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, was founded in 1996 and it is intended to reward outstanding contributions to the improvement of university teaching. The amount, 20,000 Euros for each award, is paid into the budgets of the respective universities and is aimed to innovation projects or teaching improvement.
