CRES is awarded one Josep Trueta plaque for health merits by the Catalan Government

Laura Pellisé, director of the Center for Research in Economics and Health (CRES) of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, collected last October 2nd one Josep Trueta plaque for health merits awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The ceremony of the awards was held at the Palau de la Generalitat, chaired by the Minister of Health, Boi Ruiz, and with the presence of Núria de Gispert, President of the Catalan Parliament. The medals and plaques Josep Trueta are awarded to people and organizations for their significant contribution to the progress and improvement of health.

The CRES, founded in 1996 by Professor Guillem Lopez Casasnovas and currently directed by Laura Pellisé, has as main objective to develop, with a strong multidisciplinary vocation, different lines of analysis for the improvement of the health system, both from the standpoint of the academic research as from the scientific one.
