Hans-Joachim Voth, ICREA professor of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, and Mauricio Drelichman, this year visiting the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, have won the Explorations Prize for the best article in economic history in 2010-2011, for their paper "Serial Defaults, Serial Profits: Returns to Sovereign Lending in Habsburg Spain, 1566-1600".
