Xavier Freixas and Juan José Ganuza, Professors of the Department of Economics and Business at UPF, have won the Research Fellowship ICREA Academia. This Fellowship, funded with 50.000 Euros per year and winner, acknowledges the excellence on research and the capacity of leadership. Its main aim is to motivate and recognize the excellence of research activities of university professors, allowing them to focus on activities of research as a primary dedication for a period of five years in a public university. Therefore, the total prize for researcher is 250.000 Euros.
