The professor of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF Guillem Lopez Casasnovas will be part of a think tank who will give advice to the World Health Organization (WHO) about medical inequalities in the European Union.

This commission is formed by experts from several countries, including the Nobel Prize in Economy Thomas W. Amartya Sen. Its goal is to analyze the social determinants that have an influence on the health of the citizens in the different countries of the European Union.
