UPF has received 4,735 first-choice applications, yielding a ratio between demand and supply of almost two applications per available place. 41.4% of the bachelor’s degrees on offer have a cut-off mark above 12.

Regarding its integrated studies, UPF is offering 2,478 new places for the 2021-2022 academic year, for which 4,735 applications have been made, yielding a ratio between demand and supply of 1.91, practically two applications for every place on offer. 

21 of the 29 undergraduate courses offered by the University (72.5%) have a cut-off mark above 9 (the maximum score is 14), equalling the already record figures for the previous year. This reinforces the idea that students are getting increasingly better grades to enter UPF. Two of these bachelor’s degrees, moreover, are among the ten with the highest cut-off marks in the Catalan university system: noteworthy are the new bachelor’s degree in Medicine, to start in September, which rises to 13.098 and comes fifth, and International Business Economics, which enters the top ten for the first time, in sixth with 13.039.

It is notable that the bachelor’s degree in International Business Economics is the only qualification in the fields of the humanities and political and social sciences among the top ten cut-off marks for the Catalan university system.
