Public statement by the UPF government. October 11, 2020

Considering the negative evolution of the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 over the past few days and the request addressed to the universities to limit attendance and encourage teleworking by the Secretary of Public Health of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the UPF government has decided:
1. To implement all necessary measures to activate the teaching virtualization plan. This virtualization will be activated once the authorities make the formal request to reduce the presence in all campuses. The UPF is prepared to move to the virtual teaching scenario immediately.
2. To convey to the authorities the convenience of taking and communicating a decision regarding concrete measures to be adopted by the universities, as soon as possible.
3. To maintain the face-to-face teaching scheduled for Tuesday 13th, unless, during Monday 12th, there is a different pronouncement by the university and health authorities.
