Translation in Transition is a biennial international conference that promotes research in the field of translation studies with an empirical approach. After three successful previous editions at Copenhagen (2013), Germersheim (2015) and Ghent (2017), the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University is pleased to be the venue for the fourth edition of the conference. The aim is to provide a forum for scientific communication on empirical approaches to translation studies for the international community and to give visibility to the department and its researchers and research projects in this field.
