Abstract: We analysis the effect of individuals perceived quality of Health System in their willingness to pay for an improvement on health services. We measure the economic valuation of individual preferences in two Spanish autonomous, Basque Country and Canary Islands, with one of the highest perceived quality and one of the lowest perceived quality respectively. A discrete choice experiment is implemented to assign a monetary valuation to different health system services. For this purpose, a survey is made and discrete choice models are used to manage the data and obtain economic valuation. The willingness to pay is calculated as a measure of individual preferences economic valuation. The results conclude that individuals´ perceived quality only influence on their willingness to pay for those individuals with high income, that is, the individuals that can afford a payment for an improvement in health services.    We analysis the effect of individuals perceived quality of Health System in their willingness to pay for an improvement on health services.
