II Symposium on the Learning-Service Educational Methodology, registration open
The Xarxa ApS(U)Cat (Learning-Service Educational Methodology Catalan Network) organizes the meeting "Entities and Universities: collaborate to transform" on July 10 at the Rovira i Virgili University.
The Learning-Service Educational Methodology network of the Catalan Universities (Xarxa ApS (U) Cat) was set up in 2015 with the aim to share strategies for the development of the so called "Learning-Service" learning methodology.
The Learning-Service Educational Methodology (in Spanish, ApS) is an educational proposal that combines learning and service by making students interact with their local communities and develop projects around them. Its main objective is the training of socially responsible professionals by developing civic and social commitment. It also fosters reflective practice, content learning and social skills and abilities. This great-impact methodology allows university students to develop their social involvement within the territory while they carry out their university studies.
This year, the Xarxa ApS (U) Cat organizes its second meeting of the Learning-Service Educational Methodology with the title "Entities and Universities: collaborate to transform".
