Carlos Marañón, director of Cinemanía magazine and author of key books on the links between football and cinema, such as Fútbol y cine (Ocho y Medio, 2005), A match of legend (Ocho y Medio, 2011) and Barullo in the area. Football in 50 fundamental films (Editorial UOC, 2022), will dialogue with Violeta Kovacsics, film critic, professor of ESCAC and UPF, and author of the book 50 ways to die. Noir and poetic cinema of fatality (Editorial UOC, 2022).

It is an activity co-organized by the Màster Universitari en Estudis de Cinema i Audiovisual Contemporanis de la UPF, the Research Group CINEMA, and the project Football and visual culture in Franco.
