Doctor in Audiovisual Communication from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with the thesis: “The hinge image. Representation of narrative, visual and sound interstices on David Perlov's documentary film diaries: 'Diary' (1973-1983), 'Updated Diary' (1990-1999) and 'My Stills' (1952-2002)”, dedicated to the interrelational analysis of the essays films of Brazilian-Isareli filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. The thesis was recognized with a special mention in the XXXIII version of the CAC Awards (Consejo Audiovisual de Cataluya). She teaches and researches in contemporary non-fiction field; worked as an academic at Universidad Austral de Chile (2003-2010) and at Universidad de Chile (2011-2022), where she also worked as Head of the Journalism Career (2011-2013) and Director of Extension at the Vice-Rectory of Extension and Communications (2014-2015). She has published articles (15) in specialized academic journals such as "Archivos de la Filmoteca" or "Comunicación y Medios", and book chapters (8) around her main lines of research (See). In 2021, she was awarded with the Margarita Salas Grant from the Spanish state to incorporate as a postdoctoral researcher in CINEMA-UPF collective.

Jury member at various international festivals such as Festival de Cinema Independent de Barcelona – L’Alternativa; Ultracinema México – Festival de Cine Experimental y Found Footage; Muestra Internacional Documental de Bogotá – MIDBO; Festival Internacional de Cine de Mujeres – FEMCINE; Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia – FICV (where she was also a member of the Directive Council between 2006 and 2011), among others. In 2022, she programmed the cycle “Els diaris de David Perlov - Poètiques i politiques del quotidià”, the first retrospective that gathered all the diary films of the Brazilian-Israeli filmmaker, which were screened at Zumzeig Cinema (Barcelona) in October and November 2022.

Between 2018 and 2021 she was a member of Crater Lab (Barcelona), a laboratory for experimental creation in analog cinema, of which she was Vice President between 2018 and 2020. Co-director of the documentary “Juan y la Virgen” (2010). Director of the documentary series “Piélagos. Paralelos Insulares” (2007) and “Seis Décimos” (2000).
