The Europian Society of Cardiology Congress was hold in Barcelona on August 2017. With over 30,000 participants, it is one of the biggest events in cardiology, and even medicine. One of the CFX project strong points is its close interaction with the clinical, so Gabriel Bernardino attended the conference and presented an abstract of his research
(3D shape assesment from 2D echocardiography using machine learning) in a form of Poster to the clinical community.
The clinical conference was a meeting of clinical researchers, who presented their research and companies, that presented their products. It provided an overview of the new imaging devices that the industry will provide in the near future, as well as clinical studies underway. It was also the opportunity to interact with clinical researchers, and learn more about which kind of tools they need.
