The UPF Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences and the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) jointly organize the PRBB Award for research in the health and life sciences for upper secondary school students.

Secondary schools decide which students to enter in the competition and five finalists are chosen in the selection process. The finalists then have to present a scientific poster summarizing their research and defend it before a jury.
