The Department of Experimental and Health Sciences (DCEXS) will hold its annual symposium on November 22 and 23 in the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB). The event will bring together everyone at the Department, as it encompasses the 6th symposium of the Department and the 2nd DCEXS PhD students' symposium.

Two international scientists, Carolina Florian (CMRB) and Mustafa Kammash (ETH Zurich), will be the keynote speakers. Like last year, PhD students will have a collaborative poster session and scientific talks, with a prize for the winner. Postdocs will give short scientific talks, and there will be a roundtable to discuss the future of Science and of Scientists.

The DCEXS holds every year, from 2012, a symposium featuring leading topics in biomedical research, such as quantitative biology, genetics or neuroscience. Last year it was focused on doctoral students and this year it has been organized by a committee with representatives from all collectives.

The symposium is open to all, but the number of available places is limited and pre-registration is required.
