The FHLS shares the European Higher Education Area criteria and works to promote student mobility. In addition to the official programmes, FHLS encourages research or training internships during the summer break.

Training internships can be offered by the FHLS itself or by the Health Sciences Students' Association (AECS), and students are also encouraged to find training internships on their own initiative.

Students that finish a training internship meeting the established requirements are entitled to official accreditation from the host institution.

These experiences have proven to be very positive. Around 90% of graduate students have completed a research or clinical internship during their studies.
