To enter personal data in any UPF application you must follow the steps outlined in this protocol.

The aims are:

• To establish standard criteria for entering personal data.
• To normalise the entry of personal data.
• To avoid duplicating data and thereby achieve reliable, common and robust identity management throughout UPF.
• To improve the consistency and quality of personal data included in UPF applications.

The person entering data in an application is responsible for that data and any incidents the final user may have due to its incorrect entry.
