Have you already changed your Campus Global password?

Remember that you have until February 12, 2020 to change your password, as long as you have not changed it from Campus Global in the last two months. This change will allow you to gain in security and functionality, as well as being required to access the UPF ICT services.

Why do I need to change my password?

Passwords for access to ICT services are very important when securing information. For this reason, on July 3, UPF approved the new Regulations on passwords for access to ICT services, and in mid-November the University's new password management system was launched.

As a result of these regulatory and technological changes, if you have not changed your Campus Global password in the last two months, you will have to do so in order to continue accessing the UPF ICT services after February 12, 2020.

Major improvements

The new password management system allows:

  • To have a unique password to access the UPF's main ICT services:
    • Workplace computer (PDI and PAS) and computers in the computer rooms
    • Campus Global
    • Wi-Fi
    • Institutional email account
  • To activate a new automated password recovery feature.

When should I change it?

You have time to change your password until February 12, 2020. If, on that day, you have not done so yet, you will have your password expired and you must renew it in order to access ICT services.

How do I change it?

In order to choose a strong password that can be easily remembered, we recommend that you read How to create a strong password before changing it.

To change your password, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the Global Campus
  2. Click on "Menu" and then click on your photo to enter "My Account"
  3. Choose the option "Password"
  4. Click on "Managing the UPF Password"
  5. Press the "Change Password" button.

If you are using the eduroam Wi-Fi network on your computer or mobile device, you will need to set it up again after changing the password. See the instructions in How to set up eduroam.

For more information on changing the password you can consult the guide: The UPF password.
