Space for practices related to the direct manipulation of workstations, copper and fiber optic network equipment and ethical hacking. All the computers in this classroom are located in a network isolated from the rest of the campus, with no traffic restrictions and no protection against attacks. It is equipped with configurable switches (routers), routers (routers) and optical line terminals (OLTs).

At the request of the teaching staff, there are two physical servers for the deployment of virtual machines.

    • 5 switches 24-port switches 10/100 Cisco Catalyst 2950

    • 6 Cisco 4321 series routers
    • 5 Cisco 2800 series routers
  • Direct, crossover, serial and console cables
  • Material for mounting Ethernet cables:
    • 10 crimpers for RJ-45 connectors
    • RJ-45 connectors with covers
    • 150 m of Cat 6 Ethernet cabling

Fiber optic equipment

  • 3 Ubiquiti OLTs with 4 PON ports and 1 SFP + port:
    • Each with 2 GPON transceivers
    • Each with an RJ-45-SFP transceiver
  • 4 single-mode 1x4 SC / APC single-mode splitters
  • SC / PC and SC / APC single-mode single-mode adapters
  • 9 attenuators:
    • 6 attenuators 15 dB SC / PC single mode simplex
    • 3 attenuators 25 dB SC / PC single mode simplex
  • 18 fiber optic whips:
    • 9 fuetons with SC / APC-SC / APC single-mode duplex connectors
    • 5 whips with SC / UPC-SC / APC single-mode duplex connectors
    • 4 fuetons with SC / PC-SC / APC single-mode duplex connectors
  • Material for mounting fuetons:
    • 300 m single-mode duplex fiber optic coil
    • Simple single-mode SC / PC connector components
    • Simple single-mode SC / APC connector components

In addition, configurable devices and equipment (ONTs, whiplash cases, optical meters, firewalls, access points, surveillance cameras, and raspberry pi) are available on the loan desk.
