Eyad Hakami is a PhD student in the Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) Group at the Information and Communication Technologies Department of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences and Information Systems in 2012 from Jazan University, where he started his professional life working as an instructional designer and teaching assistant in the deanship of eLearning and Information Technology. In Spring 2016, he graduated from California State University in San Bernardino, CSUSB, with a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology. Then he worked as a full-time lecturer in the department of Educational Technology at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia for two years. He is interested in research areas covering educational technologies, ICT-integrated education, blended learning, educational data mining and learning analytics, and other topics that may be related to these areas and the next generation learning spaces.
