During the whole academic year, the LV program offers a lot of leisure, tourist and cultural activities, both in Barcelona and Catalonia. These activities are addressed to all its members and have as main objective to show the diversity of the Catalan reality -knowing people, territory, customs, traditions, gastronomy- to all the exchange students. Thus, we propose a program where Catalan and exchange students can meet themselves and interact, favoring the personal, linguistic and cultural exchanges.
The LV activities are free to anybody wishing to participate and are fully open to the whole community of UPF. When there is an activity scheduled, the LV will send a mail with all the information necessary so that anyone can freely decide whether to participate or not. In general, registration is compulsory, as we need to confirm the assistance to a tourist guide. In case there is no need of registration -such as the leisure activities in town-, it will be specified in the mail. Therefore, for the smooth running of the program, we ask you to keep in mind the obligation of getting registered and once done, the attendance to the visits.
On the other hand, the activities are also thought so that you can come with your linguistic couple.
The LV organizes several activities every year, which have become a sort of tradition of us, such as Girona, Tarragona, Vic, Sitges, Figueres and Reus. However, the rest of the activities usually comes from LV participants proposals, so, if you have any idea or suggestion about activities, just write!
