2. Number of places on the Master's Degree course
Access to the Master's Degree course is limited on the basis of the number of places established by the University's Governing Council.
3. Admission procedure
The University shall make two calls for applications for admission. Applications may be submitted by candidates who fulfil the general and specific access requirements, as well as by those who do not fulfil the requirements in question but envisage doing so by the time the academic activity begins.
When formalising their application for admission, candidates must submit documentation to accredit any points that may need to be assessed.
Eventual admission shall depend upon accreditation of fulfilment of the general and specific access requirements corresponding to the Master's Degree at the time at which the academic activity begins.
4. Assessment procedure for applications for admission

This combined, interdepartmental selection committee shall comprise the two coordinators of the master's degree, plus a lecturer from the Humanities Department and a lecturer from the Translation and Interpreting Department, both of whom shall have ties to the scientific domain corresponding to the Master's Degree. A chairperson and a secretary shall be appointed from among the four committee members.
This committee shall be responsible for candidate selection, as well as for resolving any issues arising therefrom and not assigned to any other body.
The committee shall publicly announce the schedule for the selection procedure via the University's institutional website, indicating the date on which the results are to be made public, and shall ensure that the process is completed before the enrolment period begins.
The committee shall make the final list of successful candidates publicly available via UPF's institutional website. Appeals against the decision of the committee may be lodged before the vice-chancellor.
