Curricula :

Born in Cadiz in 1965. Full Professor of Psychobiology in the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences at the UPF. Holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Cadiz (1992) and a PhD in Pharmacy from the René Descartes University (Paris V) (1996). In 1998 she joined the UPF's Biology Studies, of which she has been a vice-dean. She is the co-ordinator of the Neurobiology of Behaviour Research Group (GRNC). Her research concentrates on the study of the neurobiology or neuropsychiatric diseases and, in particular addiction, depression, chronic pain and psychiatric comorbidity. She is the author of over 60 international articles in indexed journals. She is a member of the UPF's Cross-cutting Gender Policies Research Group.
