Functions:

The Research and Economic Affairs Area, managed by a deputy general manager, directs, coordinates and promotes those tasks related with the activities of the science policy implementation, research management, knowledge transfer and the development of research infrastructures; it directs, coordinates, promotes and evaluates those tasks related with the economy and budget. It manages and coordinates the  Research Service, the Innovation and Research Parks Unit, the Budget and Finance Service and the Campus Management.
