Functions:

The Technical Support and Academic Information Management Office, which is part of the section, is cross-disciplinary within the Teaching Area and for other units such as the centre and department secretaries. It is responsible for coproducing the functional analysis of processes with the units responsible, encouraging their simplification and proposing improvements to them if necessary; facilitating the implementation of electronic administration in the processes for which it is responsible; monitoring the use and implementation of the Academic Management Service's planning and management instruments such as the dashboard, indicators, action plan, management objectives, and coordination of the extraction of statistics in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses teaching area; proposing the development of software for academic management, coordinating assessment and proposals for improvements, and initiatives for its correct use, user training and operation with user units and with the Computing Service; monitoring management of incidents recorded and their follow-up; coordinating and managing the service's information tools (intranet and web); coordinating the new projects assigned to the service, and all others that may be assigned to it by the Teaching Area.
