Functions: The Computer Service supports the planning, management, control and co-ordination of the computer resources for supporting the University's management, teaching and research; supports the programming and use of these resources; puts in place, and monitors the quality of, the necessary software; develops computer applications; and co-ordinates the introduction of new computer tools and projects, and maintenance of the applications in operation.
