Functions: The Technical Office for the Prevention of Occupational Hazards is directly responsible to the Human Resources and Organisation Area, and undertakes the functions of the Technical Office for the Prevention of Occupational Hazards are to design, implement and coordinate preventive action schemes and programmes, first-aid groups and emergency schemes; to evaluate the risk factors which may affect the workers' safety and health; to give professional advice concerning the adoption and follow-up of preventive measures; to inform and draft workers' training schemes; to take care of workers' health in connection with work-related hazards, and to co-ordinate and follow up external prevention services. |
