Wiebke Katharina Weber holds a MA in Political and Social Science from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona (2007) and a BA in European Studies from the University of Passau, Germany (2006). Since 2007 she works in the field of Survey Research under the supervision of Prof. Willem Saris, first at the Survey Research Centre, ESADE, and currently at the RECSM, Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Since 2008 she is the publication officer of the online journal Survey Research Methods (SRM) and since 2009 the General Secretary of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA).
Wiebke's research interests are political behavior and public opinion, and in particular the left-right concept and its relationship with issues and values. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the comparability and use of the left-right scale in Europe, and the drafts of two of her articles can be found in RECSM's working paper series (link).
