UPF at a glanceUniversitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is a modern, first-rate public university which was founded in 1990 to offer a new model of university. It offers bachelor-level courses in the knowledge areas of social sciences, humanities, communication and technology, health and life sciences. UPF also offers a wide range of doctorates, masters and postgraduate courses.
Its campus is sited in the Rambla as well as in the new technological district of Barcelona, known as 22@. 10.000 students currently attend courses. There are 946 professors and 560 people working in administration and services.

It has redesigned and transformed postgraduate and doctorate studies to this end, and is introducing a new educational model based on student-centred learning. UPF offers a wide range of official and public masters adapted to the EHEA which offers the student the opportunity to specialise in any of UPF's knowledge areas.
