Presentation

In the field of communication, the demand for social knowledge is growing day by day; it is therefore necessary to train experts to respond to such demand. Thus, in the different modules, students gain in-depth knowledge of the core topics in the field of communication.

Objectives

  • To train experts and analysts in communication.
  • To train teachers and researchers in the communication field.
  • To provide students with essential tools to undertake research training that will enable them to take the doctorate in Social Communication.
  • To qualify students to offer consultancy to institutions and companies in the field of basic and applied research in communication.

  • Module 1: Research Methodology I (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 2: Research Methodology II (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 3: Communication and Cyberculture (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 4: Communication and Science (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 5: Communication and Quality Contents (10 ECTS credits)
  • Module 6: Communication and Consumer Culture (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 7: Communication and Education (10 ECTS credits)
  • Module 8: Communication and Interculturality (10 ECTS credits)
  • Module 9: Communication and Politics (15 ECTS credits)
  • Module 10: Research Project (20 compulsory ECTS credits)

Career prospects

The immediate career prospect following this master's degree is the training of researchers and teachers in the field of communication. However, this master's degree may also open up new occupational paths in the field of research in communication. This master's degree will teach students the skills to be able to advise institutions and companies. Thus, students will become skilled as researchers, analysts and advisors in communication, both in respect of applied and basic research.
