Presentation
The aim of this master's degree is to train specialists in economics, finance and business who feel compelled to perform research. These specialists will have the tools and knowledge available to them to enable them to understand the frontier of knowledge and carry out research projects in their areas of knowledge. Basically, these specialists will be trained to begin to write a doctoral thesis on any of the most rigorous doctoral programmes in the world.
Admission requierements
Access requirements and admission conditions and procedures are established in accordance with the "Academic regulations governing official master's degrees", according to the agreement by the Board of Governors of 10 May 2006, amended by the agreements of the Board of Governors of 14 March and 14 November 2007.
In addition to fulfilling the general access requirements set out in current regulations, the following specific access requirements must be fulfilled in order to access the official master's degree programme:
- Hold a degree (bachelor's or equivalent) with at least 180 ECTS credits.
- Hold a postgraduate qualification (master's) with at least 60 ECTS credits in the fields of economics, finance or business.
- Have a good academic transcript (generally, students with marks in the top 25% of their cohort).
- Accredit an equivalent level of English to IETS 6.0. Students whose first language is English or who have done their degree or postgraduate studies in an English-speaking country will not need to accredit their level of English.
- Letters of academic recommendation.
- A proposal for research work.
