Certain personal circumstances give entitlement to discounts on official registration fees

If you are eligible, you must prove that you benefit from deductions or waivers once you deliver all the enrolment documents at the office of the department 

General category (1) and special (category 2 or category of honour) category numerous family and single parent family

Documentation: original and a photocopy of a numerous family status certificate, valid on the date of the start of the academic year (22 September 2010 ) 

Is the carnet familiar (family card) valid?

If the carnet familiar states the category of numerous family status, then this card will be as valid as the numerous family status certificate. However, if the card does not state the category, presenting it prior to registration will only give you the right to part coverage of the registration fees. In any case, you must submit your DNI/passport and you will have to declare the number of siblings included in the numerous family card.

What can I do if the numerous family status certificate has expired?

If the numerous family status certificate has expired, you must present a certificate issued by the Department of Welfare and Family or by an equivalent body proving that renewal is underway and, prior to 31 December 2009, you will have to present the renewed certificate valid on the date of the start of the academic year, as set out in the regulations in force.

What discounts am I entitled to?

Special (category 2 or category of honour) numerous family status gives you the right to gratuity of credits and registration and transcript processing fees (it does not include the activities agenda or student insurance). General category (1) numerous family status and single parent family gives you the right to part-gratuity (50% discount) for credits and registration and transcript processing fees (it does not include student insurance).

Aid with registration fees for the staff of Catalan public universities

Documentation original certificate issued by the corresponding university which must expressly state that it is a certificate for the purposes of entitlement to aid with registration fees. The name of the title holder and the beneficiary (when applicable) must be stated, as well as their identity card/passport number and the administrative status.

What discounts am I entitled to?
All of the credits for which you register for the first time will be free. You will always have to pay the full amount of registration and transcript processing fees as well as student insurance.

  

Disability certificate

Requirements:

- You must prove a minimum degree of disability of at least 33%.

Documentationcertificate issued or validated by the Catalan Institute of Assistance and Social Services proving a minimum degree of disability of 33%.

What discounts am I entitled to?

All of the credits for which you register will be free, as will registration and transcript processing fees (it does not include student insurance).

  

Accreditation for students over 65 (DNI/passport)

Requirements:

- Proof of being at least 65 years of age.

- Not have a degree.

Documentation DNI or passport to verify the above (original and photocopy).

By when, at the latest, must I have turned 65?

Proof must be provided that you turned 65 prior to the start date of the academic year (22 September 2009).

What discounts am I entitled to?

All of the credits for which you register for the first time will be free. You will always have to pay the full amount of registration and transcript processing fees as well as student insurance.

  

Resolution accrediting status of victim of terrorism

Requirements:

- Proof of being the victim of terrorism.

Documentationadministrative resolution (original and photocopy). For spouses or children, said resolution must be accompanied by a photocopy of the family records book.

What discounts am I entitled to?

All of the credits for which you register will be free, as will registration and transcript processing fees (it does not include student insurance).

  

Resolution accrediting status of victim of gender violence

Requirements:

- proof of being a victim of gender violence (the student him/herself or children)

Documentationsome of the following documents: 

-A copy of the victim's protection order, when valid.

-A copy of the sentence outlining the events leading to the protection order.

-Exceptionally, a report issued by the Ministry stating the existence of evidence that the affiant is the victim of gender violence until the protection order is issued.

-Copy of the family records book proving kinship.
