Teaching Experience

After working in Jerusalem and London in academic editing, journalism, television and copywriting, I began teaching English in 2003. I have taught mainly in Barcelona but also in London, specialising in teaching in the workplace and also offering courses for specific purposes. My particular teaching interests are in improving academic writing and appreciating English literature.

What does teaching languages mean to you?

For me teaching English is an opportunity to experience a lot of rewarding things at the same time. It means using and exploring the language I love. It means getting to know some great people – every new class of students is enriching. And it means getting tangible results – seeing students improve throughout the course is very satisfying.
