Teaching Experience

I have been a fulltime English teacher at the PEI since its start in 1999. I am also currently collaborating with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. I have been involved with teaching languages and teacher training since 1989 and have taught in the USA, Venezuela, France, & Spain. I have presented papers & workshops at numerous teaching conferences in Caracas, Boston, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Gran Canaria & Tenerife.   I am currently an official examiner for the University of Cambridge. My professional interests are in teacher training, cultural literacy, learner autonomy and using technology to provide authentic language opportunities.
