Teaching Experience

I started teaching English to adults more than 20 years ago. At the beginning of my career I worked as Assistant Teacher of the English Language III Chair in the Translation and Interpretation Undergraduate Programme of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). After that I taught in different Extracurricular Language Programmes of the UBA and gave in-company classes. From 2002 until 2006 I lived in Rimini (Italy) where I taught English and Spanish in a Language programme for adults coordinated by the Bellaria-Igea Marina City Council. In 2006 I decided to move to Barcelona and have been working at the PEI ever since.

What does teaching languages mean to you?

To me the most interesting aspect of teaching a foreign language is giving students tools for real-life communication. In addition to that, I try to motivate them to learn more about other cultures and understand the social and cultural differences or similarities between other countries and their own.
