I was born in Mendoza, Argentina, in 1975, and I am currently living in Barcelona. My original academic background was communication studies. After some years in the private sector working as a copy writer, since 2003 I am full time doing research in linguistics at the Institute for Applied Linguistics of Universitat Pompeu Fabra. More specifically, my field of interest is quantitative linguistics, and through this discipline I study semantics and terminology. Broader terms that describe the type of work I do are computational linguistics, natural language processing, corpus linguistics and probably others. Browse the links below for details.
