Barcelona is a city known for its architecture –Gaudí–, the Olympic Games of 1992, its quality of life and its tourism. What is less known is that, due to the high level of its investigation centers, it is also a very attractive destination for young Spanish and foreign researchers. In addition to their scientific contribution, they also promote the intercultural exchanges between people sharing the same passion for science. We present here some examples of scientists from different countries currently working in Barcelona .
