· International Conference on Girls in Antiquity, Berlin October 7 - 10, 2010.

· The first official action of the current party has been the organization of a round table session by the same name on “Gender and Archaeology in Europe” in the 2009 EAA meeting. In tune with our goals we invited young speakers from seven different European countries in Europe to present their views on the professional situation of professional women archaeologists working in Europe and their views on what gender archaeology should be.

Papers presented at the session Gender and Archaeology in Europe (15th EAA Annual Meeting, Riva di Garda, 2009)

This round table, organised by Liv Helga Dommasnes and Sandra Montón-Subías, was the first official action of AGE. In order to give an overview of the gender situation in archaeological research and practice in different European countries, the round table addressed the issue of gender and archaeology in Europe from the standpoints of individual archaeologists working within different European academic traditions. Seven archaeologists from different regions were invited. Their papers are the following:
