Programme of Support to Multilingualism in Teaching

Once the Plan of Action for Multilingualism (PAM) had started to be rolled out, and bearing in mind the Catalan government's criteria regarding university course planning, which lay down the requirement of knowledge of a third language (preferably English), the need was seen to put in place a grants programme having as its main aim to help teaching and research staff on the degree courses taught at the centres to improve their language skills, particularly in English.

Since the 2008-2009 academic year with the introduction of the new degrees, this grant program has resulted in the Program of Support to Multilingualism in Teaching (English) and has been valid for three years.

From the 2012-2013 academic year, the actions for improving language skills will take place through the PlaQuid.
