The Research Group in Political Theory (GRTP) gathers together professors, research assistants and PhD students interested in political theory research topics. Its main fields of research are: democracy and political liberalism of the second postwar period; democracy and plurinational federalism; multiculturalism and immigration; theories of justice; nation and nationalism theories; the EU and the European regionalism. The GRTP is a consolidated research group in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at UPF. It sustains a wide net of contacts within other universities and international research groups working in the same field. Some of the members of the GRTP have been recipients of international, Spanish and Catalan research awards. The Group is directed by Ferran Requejo, professor of Political Science at UPF.
The GRTP also publishes a series of Working Papers, formerly in paper (available in the UPF library) and currently in their electronic version.
The professors member of the GRTP teach in the different Master Programmes and PhD Programme of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at UPF.
