ALLENCAM a consolidated research group recognized by the Catalan government, has incorporated into UPF's Linguistics Research Unit, joining GLiF, GLiCom, and GrEP. ALLENCAM's senior researchers in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences are Carmen Pérez Vidal and Aurora Bel. The decision in part grew out of the experience of having ALLENCAM graduate students present their work in last year's UR-Ling student workshop and seeing the number of points in common between their research and that of the UR-Ling graduate students.
