Functions and composition

The Language Office at Pompeu Fabra University, under the Institutional Information and Promotion Unit (Rectorate's Office), carries out the following functions:

1. To perform counselling tasks for the institution in language- and terminology-related matters and to draw up guidelines, precisions and resources for language support and the corresponding style guides.

2. To correct, as appropriate, those documents in Catalan related to institutional management and dissemination people may send to the Office, and to manage the correction of documents written in other languages and translations requested.

3. To manage and promote the Language Voluntariate (buddy programme) at the University.

4. Any other task in the field of its competences it may be asked to do.
