- 2002: Summer Training Project in Pharmacology Techniques: in vitro isolated blood vessels, wire myography, standard organ bath technique.
- 2002-2003: Final Year Project in Physiology Techniques: dual-wavelength spectrophotometer to measure intracellular calcium (Fura-2 AM), luminescence measurements (aqueorin).
- 2003-2006: PhD in Cardiac PhysiologyTechniques: Cardiac ventricular myocyte isolation on Langendorff superfusion system, electrophysiology, patch-clamp technique in the whole cell configuration, laser scanning confocal microscopy, UV flash photolysis of caged compounds, laboratory animal course.
