Studying at UPF means being educated from a civic, cultural, scientific, humanistic, technical and professional point of view and attaining a degree of personal development that will make you a creative person committed to your profession, scientific progress and to the future of society.
This is why at UPF we will help you to develop professional skills so that, in addition to the theory, you will learn to work in a team, to give oral presentations, write up reports or use information and communication technologies.
At the same time, we will help you to learn about the working world via internships. You will have to do an internship on almost all degrees, which will help you get in direct contact with enterprise and institutions.
At UPF, subjects are taught termly. This system allows you to concentrate on the subjects of each term and leads to very good results because, for example, you don't need to sit an exam in June on subjects that were dealt with in class in November. Each term you will have ten weeks of class and two of exams, and at the end of each term you will have the corresponding holidays (Christmas, Easter and summer). This system enables attaining good academic results because students are constantly up to date.
