Universitat Pompeu Fabra
Undergraduate Studies

1. Because it is a quality, public university

Pompeu Fabra University is a public university, and as such, access to it, the awarding of scholarships and the price of registration are the same as for the other public universities.

At UPF, you will get a feeling of quality and innovation in all aspects: in teaching and research, in technology, in the international student exchange programmes, in the services and facilities. This is reflected in all of the national and international rankings, in which UPF appears as being a leading university.

UPF offers courses in the health and life sciences, the social sciences, information and communication technologies and the humanities.

All UPF degrees are adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). UPF is the only Catalan university to offer 100% of its degrees adapted to Europe.

Pompeu Fabra University is truly international: despite being the second smallest public university in Spain, it is the State university with the highest percentage of foreign students (and lecturers too) in its classrooms. In all, UPF has 10,000 students, and each year it welcomes 800 students from North America (from the best universities of the east coast) and 700 from Europe (within the framework of the Erasmus programme). In addition, over 30% of students at UPF do a stage abroad during their studies (agreements are in place with over five hundred universities throughout the world).
