Translation
Goals
The goal of the Translation line is to train
researchers in the cross-linguistic, discursive, communicational, and
functional aspects involved in the operation of translation, from the
point of view both of the translation process and of the translated
product. The study of theoretical tools and translation models will be
combined with the analysis of contributions from disciplines such as
text linguistics, pragmatics, and semantics, with the purpose of
providing means for considering and analyzing textual and translational
problems.
